What is Meadow Out Of School Club?
Meadow Out Of School Club (MOOSC) is situated in a mobile classroom in the KS1 school playground to provide safe and secure out of school care for children attending the Meadow Community Primary School. Whether you are working parents/carers or just want your child to socalise more, the club will take care of your children.
MOOSC started in February 1997 in a classroom. In Easter 2009 we proudly moved into our new mobile which is very well equipped. We provide some of the best facilities in the area for out of school care.
We operate from 7.45am-9am and 3.15-6pm during term time, we also run some holiday clubs and professional days.
We are registered with Ofsted for 40 children and at our recent inspection was given a rating of 'Good'.

A typical afternoon
The basic routine starts with the younger children being collected and registered by 2 members of staff from their classroom, the older children make their own way to the mobile where they will be registered.
All the children are checked in again against a register on arrival into the building. They are then offered a healthy snack and a drink.
They are then free to choose which activities they would like to do, sometimes we have a planned activity but there is no insistence to join in. At 4.30pm we provide another snack and a drink.
As different children attend each day, there is always a variety of friends to play with.
All staff hold a current DBS check and are first aid trained
Annual registration fee, £25 per family
