Ofsted and School Performance

The Meadow Primary School became an Academy in April 2014. As a 'new' school we are currently awaiting our Ofsted inspection.

We have been exceptionally pleased with the data for all areas of the school for the past 3 years.

In 2016 within Early Years we recorded a 'Good Level of Development' of 77.3% compared to the National of 69.2%.

In the 2016 Year 1 Phonics Check for the third year we recorded 100% of children achieving the pass mark, compared to the National average of 80.7%. We once again received a letter from Nick Gibb informing us that this put us in the top 3% of schools in the country.

Within KS1, our 2016 results were very pleasing indeed. The attainment and progress placed our children above the National Average in all areas. See KS1 data table for more information.

In 2016 within KS2 we once again scored above the National Average in the new style KS2 tests which were considerably harder.

School Data 2015/16

The Meadow Primary School became an Academy in April 2014, as such it is now classed as a new school. Ofsted will re-inspect new schools within 3 years of converting. This means that The Meadow School currently has no Ofsted grading.

The end of year results for Early Years, Year 2 and Year 6 for the past 2 years have been exceptionally pleasing and as such put our school in the top 25% of Cambridgeshire schools.
